Are you a caregiver to a 2-12 year old?

Join Kim Lubin, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified school counselor, for a workshop designed to support caregivers in raising children with intention and connection. This small-group setting provides a space to learn from an experienced professional and from each other— because we all grow when we parent in community. Are you ready to explore strategies, share experiences, and strengthen your confidence as a caregiver?

We will practice:

  • How to communicate with our children with clarity and love

  • How to manage conflicts with our children

  • How to set healthy boundaries

  • How to manage our own triggers

  • How to parent with or without a collaborative partner

When: Tuesdays, October 6th through November 10th, 2026 from 6:00-7:30 PM

Location: Little Oak Montessori Children’s House, 871 NE Estes Avenue, White Salmon

Admission: $250 for one caregiver. If a second parent/domestic partner would like to attend, their registration is $125.

About Kim Lubin

Many Little Oak families already know and love Kim from our annual Practical Parenting Series, where she has facilitated numerous workshops for the greater Gorge community on topics ranging from diverse parenting relationships to sibling dynamics, challenging behaviors, and more. Her direct yet loving guidance, paired with a thoughtful, anecdotal style, creates a safe, warm space for families to share openly while receiving expert support.

Recently retired from Providence Health and Services, where she provided therapeutic support to children, teens, and their families, Kim now works with students at Little Oak Montessori School and Hood River New School, in addition to consulting with parents and educators on family dynamics, behavior, and school success.

Throughout her career, Kim has worked with diverse school districts across the country, training teachers and counselors on supporting at-risk teens and addressing the impact of trauma on academic performance.
